Welcome to our website !

If you could look back on one memory from last year that you wish you could relive, what would it be?
My birthday party weekend! It was one of my good friend's birthday the day before so she had a cereal eating party (heaven) on the Saturday, and then I rented a hot tub for my party on the Sunday! I just had so much fun and I was surrounded by all my friends and it was also very sunny and warm.

What was one new years resolution that you accomplished?
I never really make any resolutions but one thing that I'm happy that I did this year was make loads of new friends.

3 words to describe last year?
Hectic, scary and incredible.

Best music related creation/inspiration last year by an artist in your opinion?
Oh Wonder's first album, my all time favourite. I like every single song!

Something you're looking forward to this coming year?
The summer after my GCSEs! First holiday with no work, going to loads of festivals and going on holiday with my friends.

What did last year teach you?
I'm very easily distracted.

What was your most worn clothing item of last year?
Probably either my Adidas or my coat from Topshop which has officially saved my life this winter.

If you had to sum up your year in one word, what would it be?
Intense.

What are you hoping for more of this coming year?
Good exam results! And hopefully more free time??? Is that too much to ask....

What are you hoping for less of this coming year?
Stress.

Best book you read last year?
This Is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E Smith
Its not the greatest quality book but it's super cute and makes me smile when I read it.

What are your New Year’s resolution for the upcoming year?
To do well in my GCSEs, meet new people, grow my blog and get distracted less easily

I found this tag on http://www.tottosblog.co.uk/2016/01/new-years-tag-2016.html you should go and check it out!

I thought I would share a little visit I took to the current exhibition at the Saatchi, which happens to be one of my favourite galleries. I always love the art exhibited there, the lighting is good and it's near my house so what could be better. This is also my first time testing out my new camera (Canon EOS 100D) which I mentioned in my last post if you want to check it out...

Anyway this is quite a short post but lots of pictures for you to look at!

Hiya, I hope everyone had a wonderful christmas (if you celebrate it of course!)

I don't mean to brag at all in this post and I know that I am extremely lucky to have recieved such thoughtful presents but I wanted to share some of the amazing gifts I got from my family mainly because I was so happy and excited!

First of all I got this incredibly gorgeous camera which I was ecstatic about! I had wanted a good quality camera for aages and this is such a great model and I especially love it in white. Over the next few weeks I am going to be taking so many photos on this to test it out.

Then to accompany the camera my parents got me these great books which I have heard so much about. I'm looking forward to reading them to learn how to take great photographs.

Then I got these 4  beauty blenders in really fun colours. I've always wanted to try them out and see if they live up to the hype! I'll be sure to keep you updated on what I think of them. Then I also received the Benefit's #1 Selection Box which contains their best selling make up products. I loved it immediately because it has the best selection of everything so it is easy to try out. When they run out I can get the full sized version if I really like it. It contains the 'it's potent' brighting eye cream, 'porefessional' balm, 'they're real' mascara and eyeliner, 'rockateur' blush, 'hoola' bronzer, 'high beam' highlighter, and 'boiing' concealer.

Apart from some clothes (which I will show eventually in an outfit post) I got this really cute bracelet which I immediately fell in love with.

Hope you enjoyed reading, and enjoy the rest of your holidays!

These are some long exposure pictures I took as practice for my school GCSE course. I was really happy with the final results even though they are quite abstract! Hope you like them...

I thought I'd share with you my soundcloud account where I regularly make a couple of playlists which each have a kind of theme! If you're feeling like you wanna find new music check it out!

Soundcloud is great for remixes and a more aesthetic layout for your playlists where you can set a photo etc. However usually when out and about I use Spotify which is the best because you can set playlists offline. I don't have as many playlists on there but it's good for following other people with similar music tastes and Spotify have made some great playlists e.g. Throwback Dance Party which is my jam at the moment but I also have my own one with a mix of songs. https://play.spotify.com/user/gbsemr/playlist/2br8xpBIxEfZo061pBt7q0

My favourite songs at the moment...

Wonder Woman :Lion Babe
Breathe :Years & Years
Help Me Lose My Mind :Disclosure, London Grammar
It's All In Vain :Wet
Bad Bad Bad (Matt DiMona remix) :LANY
Sleep Baby Sleep :Broods
Warm Water (Snakehips remix) :Banks
Love Me :The 1975
Livewire :Oh Wonder
High By The Beach :Lana Del Rey
EASE :Troye Sivan, Broods
Stay Awake :London Grammar
I Follow Rivers (The Magician Remix) :Lykke Li

Until next time

I'm sure you already know but taking care of your skin is SO important and makes a massive difference to its appearance. I have been using this three step Clinique anti-blemish solution for probably almost 3 years now and I cannot express how well this works for me. The picture below shows the travel set which is exactly the same as the normal one just a smaller size which is extremely convenient.

Before anything else I exfoliate my skin to instantly smooth the skin and get rid of any muck that has gotten on my face during the day and dry skin cells. First I use the cleansing foam (I usually do this in the shower), applying all over my face and then washing off. Next I put some of the clarifying lotion, which is a sort of tonic, onto a cotton pad and dab over my face gently. Lastly, I hydrate my skin with all over clearing treatment cream

On the back of the packaging it says to do this routine twice a day but I tend to just do it once and it seems to work really well for me. If you were looking for some good (and not too expensive) everyday treatments for your skin I definitely recommend these!
Hope this was helpful :)

Until next time

x
